Everyone Is Loving The Fact Paul Rudd Is Going To Save The World

The incredibly long-awaited trailer (and title) for Avengers: Endgame is finally here, leaving the MCU fans to move onto more important matters – like speculating the s**t out of the plot.

The trailer starts off pretty dismally. And understandably so, considering it’s set in the aftermath of Thanos’ Avengers: Infinity War finger snap massacre.

However, if there’s one man who we can depend on to brighten those moods, it’s Paul Rudd as the lovably goofy hero, Ant-Man.

As we now know, the character somehow managed to survive Thanos extinguishing half of all living creatures in the universe, having gone subatomic and entering the Quantum Realm before the almighty snap.

And as is shown in the final moments of the Endgame trailer, following the doom and gloom, we see Captain America getting hyped about Scott Lang’s unexpected arrival.

Does this mean the goofball of the MCU winds up saving the day and helping the league of superheroes bring down the mighty super-villain? Many members of the fandom seem to think so, and to say they’re hyped about it would be an understatement.

After all, we know Ant-Man’s out, but we don’t know how he got out. With everyone who could’ve possibly helped him break free from the Quantum Realm perished in Thanos’ purge, Endgame has yet to reveal his method of escape – which could very well be the key to the return of some of the fallen heroes.

Plus, as is shown by the recent trailer, Rudd’s set to bring a comedic element to the film, something he’s done well in his roles prior to the MCU. The actor’s been a shining gem of Hollywood since day dot and he’s clearly not set to let that change anytime soon.

As one Twitter user so perfectly put it: “The Avengers trailer is a metaphor for life. Life is really s**t and you don’t know what to do, and then Paul Rudd arrives to reassure you that everything is going to be ok.”

Damn straight. As the Ant-Man tagline goes, “Heroes don’t get any bigger.” No truer words were ever spoken.
