Kelvin leads the corporate partnerships role in NUS Enterprise and also heads up the Business Development team in Smart Systems Institute (SSI). SSI has advanced data analytics and AI research partnerships with TsingHua University, ZheJiang University, Southampton University and Keio University.
In NUS Enterprise division, he is identified with co-organising corporate accelerator programs with DSTA, Bayer Grants4Apps, Loreal Innovation Runway, Mercedes Startup Autobahn, Huawei i5Lab and O3 with Symphony Creative Systems as well as innovation challenges with SIA, Ericsson, Shell IdeaRefinery, P&G, Microsoft, SMRT and THero of Guangzhou, China.
Currently, he is also the NUS Enterprise lead for a 4-year old Modern Aging Spore program which was funded by Ministry of Health and has inspired startups in developing innovative services and products for the seniors. In research, he is involved with assistive technologies which could be improve the quality of life for seniors in community settings.
Prior to joining NUS, he co-founded an interactive multimedia startup and held management positions in HP, AT&T, M1, ServTouch-WyWy and Telecoms Authority of Spore.
He is a Student Fellow (Sau Po Center for Ageing, HKU), holds a Master in Gerontology (Spore University of Social Science), MBA (Oklahoma City University) and BEng in Electronic and Communications (University of Manchester, UK).

Tech in Asia
Imran is the Head of Agency Relations at Tech in Asia. Prior to moving the business development team, Imran was Tech in Asia’s Branded Content Editor.
Previously, he worked in advertising in the Middle East. Imran has moderated several panels, including sessions for Cognizant, Shell, and Startup Thailand amongst others. In his off time, he writes and does improv.
