Here’s Where to Buy these Merchandise As Seen On Hwayugi Korean Odyssey!

Ask any Korean drama connoisseur which are the must-watch dramas of 2018, and this show is most likely to be on the list. In fact, it is so popular that it was even picked up by Netflix.

For the uninitiated, Korean Odyssey (Hwayugi) is a modern S.Korean spinoff to the classic “Journey to the West”. Famous Korean actor Lee Seung Gi plays Sun O Gong, who falls crazily in love with wealthy and beautiful real estate CEO Seon Mi (Oh Yeon Seo), a character based on the monk Tang Sanzang. Bounded together by a magical bracelet, the immortal-human couple fights evil spirits in the light-hearted romantic-comedy.

If you’re following this series, here are some of the merchandises featured on the show that you may like:

Followers of the drama will definitely remember this red monkey that Sun O Gong sent to “watch” over Seon-Mi. What most of you probably didn’t know is that it’s also available in other characters such as a bull to represent Mawang. These adorable plushies can be found exclusively online at CjMall. Since CjMall does not ship overseas, many people in Singapore are requesting these items to be brought back to them from S. Korea with the help of travellers on Airfrov.

As seen on  Hwayugi Korean Odyssey: Jewelry by miniGOLD

It’s hard to miss this brand on the show. The jeweller made several appearances in Korean Odyssey in the form of a beautiful gift box given to Seon-Mi by Jonathan, and a store that was featured as the place where Princess Iron Fan worked at in her present lifetime.

As the ambassador of miniGOLD, actress Oh Yeon Seo was seen wearing several minimalist style earrings and necklaces throughout the show.

The highlight however, has got to be the ring – a surprise gift by Sun O Gong to Seon-Mi, which resembles his magical bracelet.

Fans of the drama can purchase the rose gold ring from S.Korea’s minigold website from $95,000 KRW (approx SGD $122) onwards, with options of 10k, 14k, or 18k gold.

Alternatively, you can save on shipping fees by asking a traveller to get it for you, just like what we did!
