Seeing how Honor just launched its Honor 7X, an update to the Honor 6X, it’s not surprising the next phone won’t be launched so soon. But why 5 December of all times? That bit is uncertain.

What is certain is that the invite shows a phone with super slim bezels and the invite reads ‘Max Your View’. We’re betting this means a maxed out screen. Funny thing is the invite visuals have differed – some show one phone, some show two. Perhaps it means some models won’t be available in all countries? That seems the likeliest bet.

We do know what the Honor 7X has – a 5.93in Full HD display, also with very thin bezels alongside the Kirin 659 octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM, with storage options of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB and a dual-camera setup of 16MP/2MP, as well as an 8MP front camera. Also notable is the 3340mAh battery.

Pricing is RMB1299 (S$270), RMB1699 (S$350) and RMB1999 (S$410)for the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants respectively. It’ll be available in China first, and likely the rest of the world if it follows in the trend of the popular Honor 6X.
