HWZ Deal Alert: 15th September 2017

TGIF! Time to shop!

The weekend is here. Time to let both your hair and your wallet loose with these deals we found online!

Massdrop has once again collaborated with Cavalli Audio to give audiophiles a bang for buck headphone amplifier. Based on the highly popular and sold out Liquid Carbon amplifier, the new Liquid Carbon X amplifier has an updated form factor, switching power supply, and input and output jacks.

Its unique topology allows for the use of single-ended or balanced DACs and can drive headphones through a standard 1/4-inch jack or 4-pin XLR jack (balanced). Power output is a beefy 2.8W into 50 ohms through the 4-pin XLR and 700mW into 50 ohms through the 1/4-inch jack.

The best part about it is that it is going for US$299.99 (~S$405), which is a remarkable price for a Cavalli Audio amplifier.
