SINGAPORE – A Certis Cisco guard, stationed at Changi Airport, fired a gun in the early hours of Friday morning (Sept 15).

The incident occurred in a restricted staff-only area which is not accessible to the public.

No injuries were reported.

Sources told The Straits Times that it is not clear if the gun was fired accidentally or whether the officer had other intentions.

The Airport Police Division is investigating the incident. The Straits Times has contacted Certis Cisco for comment.
