Big Fujikina event scheduled for September 7th in Tokyo

Fujifilm has just launched a new microsite announcing the launch of Fujikina in Tokyo on the 7th of September , from 6 to 10pm, and it looks to be another huge one.  Unlike the last time, the  venue is going to be the Tsunamachi Mitsui club. There will be opportunities to touch and feel the GFX, as well as the latest equipment from Fujifilm.

There will also be an exhibition of works from X-Photographers, Live Talks, Workshops, a station for Quick Maintenance Service, and a rental counter where visitors rent out the latest cameras and lenses for a few hours.

Hopefully the hands-on session will also allow for a look at some new products.

Fujirumors is hoping that this is when Fuji announces the rumored X-E3, XF80 Macro, and the GF 45mm, so hopefully they’re right and we get new products next month. The X-E3 in particular is said to have a combined shutter/ISO dial, Focus joystick like the X-T2 and X-Pro2, Bluetooth capabilities, and 4K video recording capabilities.

That certainly sounds like it would make for a nice step-up camera, so let’s see if any of the speculation comes through.
